At the announcement, Microsoft has listed out a range of brands that will be building handsets running on this operating system. Huawei, a brand that is swiftly gaining popularity in the smartphone segment is one of the brands that is set to release a handset once it becomes available and they have also added a statement regarding the same.Huawei for its part has announced it is expanding its relationship with Microsoft Corp. for the creation of the brand’s first Windows Phone handset. Part of the Huawei Ascend family, the Ascend with Windows Phone 8 expands the company’s smartphone portfolio and brings the Windows Phone operating system to an even bigger audience.
