Revenue official arrested under graft charges

Bikaner(Raj), Oct 28 (PTI) A Pokhran based revenue administrative officer was arrested here today by anti-corruption bureau officials for allegedly possessing a bribe money of Rs 1.8 lakh. The money was recovered from Bansighar Singh Chaudhary after he was intercepted on his way to Jhunjhunu village from Pokhran, ASP Ravi Dutt Gaur said. The officials got suspicious after Chaudhary failed to give a satisfying reply for carrying such a huge sum of money, Gaur said, adding that he later admitted that the money was in bribe. A case has been registered and further investigations are on in the case, he added.
